Sig Arno

Sig Arno (December 27, 1895 Hamburg-August 17, 1975 Woodland Hills) a.k.a. Siegfrid Arno, Siegfried Arno, Siegrfred Arno, Sigfried Arno or Siegfried Aron was a West German actor, comedian, painter, singer and dancer.

He began his career in entertainment as a clown in a circus before moving on to vaudeville and cabaret performances. Arno then started his acting career in the 1920s in German films, often portraying comical or eccentric characters. He later emigrated to the United States in the 1930s and appeared in several Hollywood films including "The Palm Beach Story" and "A Night at the Opera." In addition to acting, Arno was also an accomplished painter and his artwork was exhibited in galleries in both the United States and Germany. He continued to act in films and on television throughout his career, appearing in the TV series "The Adventures of Superman" and "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." among others. Arno passed away in 1975 at the age of 79 in Woodland Hills, California.
