Here are 1 famous musicians from West Germany died at 69:
Julius Schaub (August 20, 1898 Munich-December 27, 1967 Munich) also known as Josef Huber was a West German military officer.
However, before his military career, Schaub was a key figure in the inner circle of Adolf Hitler, serving as his personal aide and adjutant from 1925 until the end of World War II. In his role as Hitler's personal aide, Schaub was responsible for overseeing many of the dictator's day-to-day activities, and was often by his side during speeches, functions and meetings.
Following Hitler's suicide in April 1945, Schaub was captured by the Allies and held in captivity until 1948. After his release, he went on to work as a businessman and consultant, before becoming involved in the formation of the German Freedom Party in 1956, which sought to rehabilitate the reputation of former members of the Nazi party.
Schaub's military career began in 1915 when he joined the Bavarian Army during World War I, where he served as a lieutenant. After the war, he became involved in right-wing political groups before eventually joining the Nazi Party in 1922. From 1939 to 1945, he served as a colonel in the German Army before being captured by the Allies.
Despite his past with the Nazi party, Schaub remained active in right-wing political circles and continued to espouse many of his former beliefs until his death in 1967.
