Pedro Armendáriz

Pedro Armendáriz (May 9, 1912 Mexico City-June 18, 1963 Los Angeles) also known as Pedro Armendariz, Pedro Gregorio Armendáriz Hastings, Pete, The Clark Gable of Mexico or Pedro Gregorio Armendáriz was an American actor. He had two children, Pedro Armendáriz, Jr. and Carmen Armendáriz. He was residing in Mexico City.

Pedro Armendáriz was best known for his roles in Mexican and Hollywood films, such as "Fort Apache" (1948), "The Fugitive" (1947), and "From Russia with Love" (1963). He started his acting career in theater and radio before transitioning to film, and often portrayed strong and charismatic characters. In addition to his successful acting career, Armendariz was also a writer and director, with several theatre productions to his name. Sadly, Armendariz was diagnosed with cancer and took his own life just days after completing filming on "From Russia with Love". He was buried in Mexico City and his death is still mourned by his fans all over the world.

He has five children, Marley Van Peebles, Mandela Van Peebles, Maya Van Peebles, Makaylo Van Peebles and Morgana Van Peebles. He has been known to be residing in Mexico City.

Mario Van Peebles is the son of filmmaker Melvin Van Peebles and German actress and photographer Maria Marx. He started his film career in 1971, as a child actor in his father's Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song. Mario is mostly recognized for his portrayal of drug lord "Nate Cabot" in the TV show "Sonny Spoon", which aired from 1988-1989. He has also starred in several popular movies such as "New Jack City", "Ali", and "Baadasssss!".

Apart from his work in front of the camera, Mario is also an accomplished filmmaker. He directed and starred in the 1991 movie "New Jack City" which was a box office success. He went on to direct, write and produce several other movies, including "Panther", "Baadasssss!" and "Redemption Road".
