Karlheinz Böhm (March 16, 1928 Darmstadt-May 29, 2014 Grödig) also known as Karlheinz Bohm, Carl Boehm, Karl Boehm, Carl Heinz, Carl-Heinz, Karl Böhm, Carl Böhm, Carl Heinz Boehm, Carl-Heinz Boehm, Carl Bohm, Karl Heinz Böhm or Karl-Heinz Böhm was an Austrian actor and voice actor. He had seven children, Katharina Böhm, Nicolas Böhm, Aida Böhm, Kristina Böhm, Sissi Bohm, Michael Bohm and Daniela Böhm.

Karlheinz Böhm had a prolific acting career, spanning over 50 years. He appeared in over 40 films, including the acclaimed 1960 film "Peeping Tom" directed by Michael Powell. Böhm also had a successful stage career and was a member of the Burgtheater ensemble in Vienna. However, it was his role as Franz Joseph in the Sissi film series that made him a household name.

Böhm was also known for his humanitarian work. He was the founder of the organization Menschen für Menschen (People for People), which focused on helping the people of Ethiopia. He devoted much of his time and personal wealth to the organization and its efforts to build schools, wells, and health clinics for Ethiopians.

In recognition of his humanitarian work, Böhm was awarded the Grand Decoration of Honour in Silver for Services to the Republic of Austria in 2003. He continued his philanthropy work until his death in 2014.
