She is best known for her role in the film “La tendresse” in 1930, which was directed by André Hugon. Later in her career, she acted in theatre productions and had a recurring role on Belgian TV series "Les Enquêtes du Commissaire Maigret" in the 1960s. Besides acting, Alice Roberts was also an avid painter, and her artwork was exhibited in galleries across Europe. She passed away in 1985 at the age of 79 in Brussels, Belgium.

Louisa Ghijs

Louisa Ghijs (March 19, 1902 Brussels-July 18, 1985 Bavaria) also known as Ludovica "Louisa" Ghijs, Wiesje Ghijs, Louisa "Wiske" Ghijs, Wiske, Louise Wiesje Ghijs, Louise Ghijs, Wiesje Ghijs-Heesters or Wiesje Heesters was a Belgian actor. Her children are called Nicole Heesters and Wiesje Heesters.

Ghijs started her acting career in the 1920s in Dutch and German films. She became known for her roles in the films such as "Two Worlds" (1930), "Gold" (1934), "The Green Domino" (1940) and "The Beggar Student" (1956). In 1941, during World War II, she and her husband were banned from performing due to their perceived ties to the Dutch Resistance. After the war, she resumed her career and appeared in several more films. Ghijs was also an accomplished theater actress and performed in various plays throughout her career. She passed away in Bavaria in 1985, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of acting.
