He had two children, Sean Edward Hartman and Birgen Anika Hartman.

Born in Canada, Phil Hartman began his career as a graphic artist before transitioning into comedy. He became a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live in 1986 and quickly became one of the show's most popular performers, known for his spot-on impressions and memorable characters. Hartman also provided voices for several iconic characters on The Simpsons, such as Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz. In addition to his work in comedy, Hartman acted in several films and television shows, including NewsRadio and Jingle All the Way.
