Dana Vávrová (August 9, 1967 Prague-February 5, 2009 Munich) a.k.a. Danuse Vávrová or Dana Vavrova was a Czech actor, screenwriter, film director and film producer. She had three children, Theresa Vilsmaier, Josefina Vilsmaier and Janina Vilsmaier.

Dana Vávrová began her career in the film industry at a young age, making her debut in the film "The White Sheik" at the age of eight. She went on to appear in numerous films and television shows throughout her career, working with acclaimed directors such as Werner Herzog, Peter Greenaway, and Rainer Werner Fassbinder. In addition to her work as an actor, Vávrová also wrote and directed several films, including "Angel Exit" and "Hotel Adlon". She was recognized for her contributions to the film industry with several awards, including a Bavarian Film Award and a Czech Lion Award. Sadly, Vávrová passed away in Munich in 2009 at the age of 41.
