Dana Vávrová

Dana Vávrová (August 9, 1967 Prague-February 5, 2009 Munich) a.k.a. Danuse Vávrová or Dana Vavrova was a German actor, screenwriter, film director and film producer. She had three children, Theresa Vilsmaier, Josefina Vilsmaier and Janina Vilsmaier.

She died in cancer.

Dana Vávrová began her acting career at the young age of 11 in the Czech film "The Ear". She went on to star in numerous Czech and German films throughout her career, including "Journey to the Beginning of Time", "Comeback", "Herzlichen Glückwunsch", and "The Nasty Girl". In 1992, she wrote and directed her first film, "Torn Curtain". She also directed several TV movies and series over the years, including popular crime series "SOKO 5113". In addition to her successful career in the film industry, Vávrová was also active in humanitarian causes, including her work for the German Bone Marrow Donor Center.
