Leoncio Lara

Leoncio Lara (August 9, 1965 Chihuahua-) also known as Leoncio Lara 'Bon', Leoncio Lara-Bon or Leoncio Lara Bon is a Mexican film score composer.

He is most known for composing music for films such as "Cantinflas" (2014), for which he won the Ariel Award for Best Original Music Score, "El Día de la Unión" (2012) and "El Estudiante" (2009). In addition to film scores, Lara has also composed music for television shows, including "Río del destino" (2019) and "El Dragón: Return of a Warrior" (2019). He began his musical education in the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico, and later went on to study composition and conducting in Italy. Lara has been recognized for his contributions to Mexican cinema, and is considered one of the most talented film composers in the country.

Lara has collaborated with many renowned directors such as Sebastián del Amo, Carlos Bolado, and Roberto Girault.
