M Ashraf

M Ashraf (February 1, 1942 Lahore-February 4, 2007 Lahore) also known as Manzoor Ashraf, Manzoor, M. A. Shaad, Manzoor-Ashraf or M. Ashraf was a Pakistani film score composer.

He was one of the most prominent and influential music composers in the Pakistani film industry during the 1960s and 1970s. M Ashraf composed music for over 400 Pakistani films, making him one of the most prolific composers in Pakistan's film history. He also composed music for television plays and dramas. Some of his most popular compositions include "Dama Dam Mast Qalandar", "Main Hoon Alladin", "Ko-Ko-Korina" and "Lakhon Mein Aik". M Ashraf was awarded several prestigious awards, including the "Pride of Performance" Award by the Government of Pakistan in 2001. He died in Lahore due to a cardiac arrest in 2007.
