Nikola Popovic (March 5, 1907 Gornji Milanovac-March 10, 1967 Belgrade) also known as Nicol Popovic was a Serbian actor and film director.

Popovic began his acting career in 1930 and quickly became a prominent figure in Serbian theater. He went on to star in over 50 films and directed several popular movies in the 1950s and 60s. Some of his notable acting roles include "The Battle of Kosovo" (1951) and "The White Sheik" (1952). As a director, he is best known for "Three" (1965) and "The Eccentrics" (1966). Popovic was also a prominent figure in Yugoslav cinema and served as the president of the Yugoslav Film Workers Association. He received several awards during his career, including the Order of Merit for the People and the Order of Labor with a Red Banner. Popovic passed away in 1967 at the age of 60.
