Chua Ek Kay (November 21, 1947 Guangdong Province-February 8, 2008 Singapore) was a Singaporean artist and visual artist.

He was well-known for his unique style of Chinese ink painting that blended both traditional and modern Western techniques. Chua received his formal training in art at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, and later went on to graduate from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia. Huang Wenyong was best known for his roles in many popular Singaporean television dramas, including "The Awakening", "Portrait of Home", and "The Unbeatables". He was credited with helping to shape the local Chinese-language entertainment industry and was considered a beloved cultural icon. In addition to his successful acting career, he was also a dedicated teacher and trained many aspiring actors in Singapore. Huang was awarded the coveted Excellence in Acting Award at the annual Star Awards ceremony in 2012, which was his last public appearance before his illness forced him to retire from acting.

He died as a result of lymphoma.
