He had eight children, Ángela Molina, Monica Molina, Paula Molina, Miguel Molina, Noel Molina, Antonio Molina Tejedor, Juan Ramón Molina and José Alberto Molina.

Antonio Molina was known for his distinctive, emotional singing style and was particularly renowned for his interpretations of flamenco music. He recorded over 600 songs and appeared in more than 40 films. Molina was also an accomplished composer, having written the scores for several of the films he starred in. José Calvo began his career in the mid-1940s in Spain and quickly gained recognition for his natural talent and versatility as an actor. He appeared in many films throughout the 1950s and 1960s, often playing supporting roles in popular Spanish comedies and dramas. In the 1960s, he began to make a name for himself internationally and worked with directors such as Federico Fellini and Luis Buñuel.

One of his most notable roles was as the innkeeper in Buñuel's iconic film "Viridiana," which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1961. He also appeared in Fellini's "Satyricon" in 1969.
