Jan Johansson (September 16, 1931 Söderhamn-November 9, 1968 Sollentuna Municipality) a.k.a. Johansson, Jan was a Swedish jazz pianist, film score composer and composer. His children are Jens Johansson and Anders Johansson.

In the late 1950s, Johansson began incorporating elements of Swedish folk music in his jazz compositions, which resulted in his breakthrough album "Jazz på svenska" (Jazz in Swedish) in 1964, a landmark album in Swedish music history. The album featured jazz interpretations of traditional Swedish folk songs and became a tremendous success, selling over a million copies and inspiring a wave of similar projects in Sweden and beyond.

Throughout his career, Jan Johansson released several albums, including collaborations with other notable jazz musicians. He was also known for his work in film, composing the score for the 1967 Swedish film "Mannen som slutade röka" (The Man Who Quit Smoking).
