Apichart Choosakul

Apichart Choosakul (November 25, 2014 Saraburi Province-September 6, 2010 Bangkok) also known as Apichart Chusakul, Apichat Choosakul, Abhijati 'Muek' Jusakul, Abhijati Jusakul, Muek Jusakul, P'Muek, Muek or Abhijati 'Meuk' Jusakul was a Thai actor and film director.

He began his career as an actor in the 1970s and is best known for his roles in the critically acclaimed films "Muen and Rid" (1974) and "The Scar"(1977). He later transitioned to becoming a film director and went on to direct several successful films, including "Young Soldier" (1984) and "Oh La La" (1984). Along with his work in film, Apichart also acted in several television dramas throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. He was regarded as one of the most influential figures in Thai cinema and was awarded numerous accolades throughout his career, including the Silpathorn Award for Film from the National Culture Commission in 2006. Apichart passed away in 2010 at the age of 95.
