She is best known for her role as Nurse Linda on the TV series ER, which she portrayed from 1994 to 2000. Pam began her acting career in the late 1970s, appearing in several TV shows and films including "The Waltons," "Little House on the Prairie," and "Mame" (1974). She also had a recurring role on the soap opera "Days of Our Lives" and appeared in the film "American Hot Wax" (1978). Pam was very active in the theater community in Omaha, where she resided, and was a founding member of the local theater group "The Blue Barn Theatre." In addition to her acting career, Pam was also a teacher and an advocate for the arts in her community.

In 1996, Pam received the Omaha Theater Arts Guild's "Outstanding Supporting Actress" award for her role in the play "Lips Together, Teeth Apart."
