Throughout her career, she acted in over 50 films, including "The Tango Star" (1940) and "Reportaje" (1953). She was a prominent figure in the Argentinian film industry and worked with renowned directors such as Carlos Saura and Leonardo Favio.

Aside from her film career, Ana Casares was also involved in theater and television. She was a member of the National Theater Service and was awarded the Konex Award for her contributions to Argentinian cinema in 1981.
