She began her career in the theatre and later transitioned to film. In 1917, she starred in the film "El Cura Gaucho", which became a notable success in Argentina. Cordero went on to act in over 60 films throughout her career, often playing dramatic roles. She was a well-respected actress in the Argentine film industry and was known for her talent and dedication to her craft.
