Bobbitt is best known for her role as "Judy Bryant" in the iconic Australian television series, "Prisoner" (known as "Cell Block H" in the UK). She appeared in over 400 episodes across four seasons from 1980 to 1985.
Before becoming an actor, Bobbitt studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and worked as a teacher in Australia. She made her stage debut in 1962 with the Adelaide Repertory Theatre and went on to perform in numerous productions in Australia and the UK.
