Jenny Jugo (June 14, 1904 Mürzzuschlag-September 30, 2001 Königsdorf) a.k.a. Eugenie Jenny Walter was an Austrian actor.
She began her acting career in 1922 and went on to star in numerous films throughout the 1920s and 1930s. Jugo was known for her versatile acting skills and appeared in a range of films, including dramas, comedies, and musicals. In 1933, she moved to Hollywood to star in the film "The Empress and I" but returned to Europe shortly after due to conflicts with the film's director.
During World War II, Jugo continued to act in films and was even awarded the German National Prize for Art and Science in 1944. After the war, she faced accusations of collaboration with the Nazi regime, but these were eventually dropped.
Jugo continued to act in films until the early 1970s and remained active in the entertainment industry as a voice actor and television presenter. She passed away in 2001 at the age of 97.
