Jaime Mendoza-Nava (December 31, 1925 La Paz-May 31, 2005 Woodland Hills) a.k.a. James Navas, Jaime Mendosa-Nava, Jaimie Mendoza-Nava, J. Mendozoff, Jaime Mendoza or Jaime I. Mendoza was a Bolivian composer, conductor and film score composer.

He was known for his contributions to the world of film and television music, having composed or orchestrated music for over 200 films and television shows in his career, including "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", "On Golden Pond", and "Chinatown". Mendoza-Nava's work earned him numerous awards, including two Emmy Awards for his work on the television shows "Little House on the Prairie" and "Highway to Heaven". In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Mendoza-Nava was also a respected conductor, having led orchestras in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He died in 2005 at the age of 79.
