Mussum
Mussum (April 7, 1941 Lins de Vasconcelos-July 29, 1994 São Paulo) also known as Antonio Carlos Bernardes Gomes, Mumu da Mangueira or Os Trapalhões was a Brazilian actor, musician and comedian. He had four children, Mussunzinho, Augusto Gomes, Paula Gomes and Sandro Gomes.
Mussum became popular in Brazil during the 1970s and 1980s as a member of the group "Os Trapalhões" (The Bunglers), which was a comedy group that also included Didi, Dedé and Zacarias. Mussum was known for his quick wit, unique sense of humor, and his trademark frizzy hair and beard. In addition to his comedic work, Mussum was also a talented musician and played the cavaquinho (a Brazilian instrument similar to a ukulele) in a number of samba bands. Mussum died of a heart attack in 1994 at the age of 53, but he continues to be remembered as one of Brazil's most beloved comedians.
