He had two children, Sean Edward Hartman and Birgen Anika Hartman.
Hartman is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live from 1986 to 1994, where he became famous for his impressions of Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, and Frank Sinatra. He also appeared in several popular films such as Jingle All the Way, So I Married an Axe Murderer, and Small Soldiers.
