Paul Brodie was a Canadian journalist and TV anchor. He began his career in radio in the 1950s before transitioning to television in the 1960s. Brodie is best known for his work on the CBC TV news program "The National," where he worked as an anchor and correspondent for over 20 years. He covered major events such as the Apollo 11 moon landing and the October Crisis in Quebec. Brodie was also known for his work on CBC Radio, where he hosted several programs, including "This Country in the Morning" and "Inside From the Outside." In addition to his journalism career, Brodie was also active in the arts community, serving as the chairman of the Canadian Conference of the Arts and the director of the National Ballet of Canada. He was awarded the Order of Canada in 1995 for his contributions to journalism and the arts. Brodie passed away in 2007 at the age of 73.

Ronald Turini is a Canadian car racing driver and engineer. He is best known for his success in endurance racing, particularly at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Throughout his career, he competed in various racing series, including Formula One and Can-Am.

Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, Strand spent most of his life in the United States where he taught at various universities including Columbia University and The University of Chicago. He published numerous collections of poetry throughout his career, including "Blizzard of One", which won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1999. In addition to his poetry, Strand was also known for his translations of Latin American poets such as Octavio Paz and Carlos Drummond de Andrade. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 80.

He began his music studies at an early age and went on to study at the Toronto Conservatory of Music and the University of Toronto. Glick was particularly interested in Jewish music and his compositions often drew on Jewish themes and melodies. He was awarded a Canada Council scholarship to study in Israel and spent a year at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem. Glick’s music has been performed by leading orchestras, including the Toronto Symphony, the Israel Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra. He was also a dedicated music educator and taught at several institutions throughout his career. Glick received numerous awards for his contributions to music, including the Order of Canada and the Diamond Jubilee Medal.

André Prévost (July 30, 1934 Hawkesbury-January 27, 2001 Montreal) otherwise known as Andre Prevost, Prévost, André or André Prévost, OC was a Canadian composer and teacher.
Born in Hawkesbury, Ontario, André Prévost began his musical studies in Montreal before continuing at the Juilliard School in New York City. He returned to Canada in 1959 and was appointed to the music faculty of the Université de Montréal. Prévost was a prolific composer, known for his innovative experimentalism and his incorporation of jazz idioms in his work. He served as composer-in-residence for the National Arts Centre Orchestra and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and his compositions were performed by leading orchestras and ensembles in Canada, the United States, and Europe. Prévost was awarded the Order of Canada in 1993 and was a member of the Royal Society of Canada. He passed away in Montreal in 2001.
