Pedro Sienna

Pedro Sienna (May 13, 1893 San Fernando-March 20, 1972 Santiago) also known as Pedro Pérez Cordero or Pedro Pérez was a Chilean playwright, poet, journalist, actor, film director and art critic. His child is called Carmen Julia Pérez Benavides.

Sienna was an important figure in Chilean theatre, having written more than twenty plays, many of which were influenced by social and political issues of the time. He was also a founding member of the Chilean National Academy of Dramatic Art and a prolific journalist, writing for several newspapers and magazines in Chile and abroad. Sienna's political views played a significant role in his work, leading to his arrest and imprisonment during the 1973 Chilean coup d'état. Despite his controversial career, Sienna's contributions to Chilean culture have been widely recognized, with the creation of the Pedro Sienna National Film Award in his honor in 1994.

Roberto Rey

Roberto Rey (February 15, 1905 Valparaíso-May 30, 1972 Madrid) otherwise known as Roberto Colás Iglesias was a Chilean actor.

He began his career in theater in 1923 and later moved on to film in the 1930s. He starred in over 40 films, including "The Phantom of the Opera" (1943) and "The Count of Monte Cristo" (1942). Rey was also known for his work in Spanish television, specifically his role as Uncle Roberto in the popular series "Historias para no dormir" (1964-1982). In addition to his successful acting career, he was also a writer and director. Rey passed away in Madrid in 1972 at the age of 67.
