Carlos Morales Troncoso (September 29, 1940 Dominican Republic-October 25, 2014 Miami) was a Dominican politician. He had four children, Ivette Baittiner, Nicole Bogaert, Cecile Vitienes and Michelle Morales.

Morales Troncoso served as the vice president of the Dominican Republic from 1996 until 2000, under the presidency of Leonel Fernández. He was also a senator for the National District and served as Minister of Foreign Affairs for over a decade, from 2004 until his death in 2014. Troncoso played a significant role in the strengthening of diplomatic ties between the Dominican Republic and other countries, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean. He received numerous awards and recognitions for his work, including the Order of Merit of Duarte, Sánchez and Mella, the highest honor that the Dominican Republic bestows upon a citizen.
