Johan te Slaa (June 15, 1906 Hilversum-May 18, 1980 Amsterdam) also known as Johan Te Slaa was a Dutch actor.
He began his acting career in the 1930s and became known for his roles in Dutch films such as "Kleine Ineke" and "Dood Water". He was also a popular stage actor, performing in many plays in theaters throughout the Netherlands. During the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II, Te Slaa continued to work in the entertainment industry, but refused to perform for the Nazis or participate in any propaganda. After the war, he became involved in Dutch television and was a regular on the popular series "Swiebertje" for over a decade. Johan te Slaa was known for his versatility as an actor and his ability to portray a wide range of characters, from comedy to drama.
He was also a trained singer and appeared in several operettas and musicals throughout his career.
