Born to British parents, Greenway began her career as a performer in Cairo's cabaret scene in the 1920s. She later moved to Hollywood in the 1930s where she appeared in a number of films, including "Suez" and "White Woman." Greenway was also a talented singer and recorded several songs in the 1930s and 1940s. In addition to her work in entertainment, she was actively involved in various philanthropic organizations throughout her life. She passed away in California in 1977 at the age of 74.

Greenway enjoyed a successful acting career in both Hollywood and British films during the 1930s and 1940s. Some of her other notable film credits include "The Drum," "Romeo and Juliet," and "The Saint in London." In addition to her film work, Greenway also appeared on stage, including a role in the London production of "Dear Octopus" in the late 1930s.
