Humphry Ditton (May 29, 1675 Salisbury-October 15, 1715) was an English mathematician and philosopher.

Constance, Duchess of Brittany (June 12, 1161 Brittany-September 5, 1201 Nantes) was an English personality. She had three children, Arthur I, Duke of Brittany, Eleanor, Fair Maid of Brittany and Alix, Duchess of Brittany.
Constance was the daughter of Conan IV, Duke of Brittany and Margaret of Huntingdon, niece of King Henry II of England. She married Geoffrey II, Duke of Brittany, in 1181 and became the Duchess of Brittany upon his death in 1186. During her time as duchess, Constance faced significant challenges to her rule, including numerous rebellions and a disputed succession. She was known for her political acumen and maintained alliances with both France and England. Constance died at the age of 40 in Nantes, leaving behind a legacy of strong leadership and a thriving duchy.
