Richard Bright

Richard Bright (June 28, 1937 Bay Ridge-February 18, 2006 New York City) a.k.a. Richard James Bright, Eddie Gambino or Richie was an American actor. His children are called Diane Bright and Jeremy Bright.

Bright is best known for his roles in the "Godfather" trilogy and "The Sopranos." He started his acting career in the 1970s and had a brief stint as a member of the infamous Warhol Factory scene. His other notable film credits include "Once Upon a Time in America" and "The Panic in Needle Park." Besides acting, Bright was an accomplished painter and a teacher. He taught acting to young artists in New York City and was also a faculty member at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Bright was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2003 and passed away on February 18, 2006, in New York City.
