He is best known as a former member of the popular Latin American boy band Menudo. Masso joined the band in 1984 and was a member until 1990, during which time the band achieved significant success with hit songs such as "Hold Me" and "Like a Cannonball."
After leaving Menudo, Masso pursued a solo career and released his debut album "Sueños" in 1994. He continued to release several other solo albums and became well-known for his romantic ballads and pop hits. He is best known for being a founding member and drummer of the Welsh rock band, Super Furry Animals. Ieuan was born in Bangor, Wales and he attended Ysgol Glancegin before studying music technology at the University of Wales, Bangor. Aside from his work with Super Furry Animals, Ieuan has collaborated with various other artists and has also released solo material under the name The Peth. He is known for his unique drumming style, which incorporates elements of punk, rock, electronic and world music influences. In addition to his music career, Ieuan is also an artist and has exhibited his paintings and photographs in galleries across Wales.
Ieuan's interest in music started at a young age and he was inspired by his father who played in a folk band. He formed his first band, Ffa Coffi Pawb, while still in college, and it later evolved into Super Furry Animals.
