Rev. Timothy Wright was a highly esteemed figure in the gospel music industry for over four decades. He served as the pastor of the Brooklyn-based Grace Tabernacle Christian Center Church of God in Christ for many years. He was also a prolific gospel music composer, songwriter and performer, having recorded over 20 albums throughout his career. Aside from his popular albums, he also composed several gospel hits such as "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus," "We're Going to Make It" and "Come Thou Almighty King." Wright was tragically killed in 2009 after he was involved in a car crash.
