Teody Belarmino was born on April 4, 1951 in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. He grew up to become a well-known Filipino actor, director and scriptwriter, known for his work in the film industry during the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Belarmino is considered as one of the most talented actors of his time.
His career began when he was cast in the 1967 film "Sierra Madre" and quickly gained popularity with his debut performance. He went on to star in more than 100 films throughout his career, earning critical acclaim for his roles in films such as "Bulaklak sa City Jail", "Salome" and "Hinugot sa Langit".
