Lou Salvador
Lou Salvador (July 7, 1905 Tacloban-March 1, 1973) also known as Lou Salvador Sr., Chipopo, Chipopoy, Luis "Lou" Salvador, Lou Salvador Sr, Luis Salvador or Van Ludor was a Filipino actor, basketball player, film producer and film director. He had ten children, Lou Salvador, Jr., Alona Alegre, Leroy Salvador, Mina Aragon, Ross Rival, Jumbo Salvador, Chona Sandoval, Ding Salvador, Phillip Salvador and Ramon Salvador.
Lou Salvador was born on July 7, 1905 in Tacloban, Leyte. He began his career in entertainment as a basketball player, playing for the Manila Red Oilers in the 1920s. He then moved on to acting and became one of the most popular actors during the Golden Age of Philippine Cinema.
Aside from acting, Salvador also worked as a film producer and director. He co-founded Sampaguita Pictures, one of the most successful film studios in Philippine history. He directed and produced several films under his own production company, LVN Pictures.
Salvador was also a family man and had ten children with his wife, Nena Syncon. His children also followed in his footsteps and became famous in the entertainment industry. His son, Phillip Salvador, became a famous actor and producer.

Gregorio Fernandez (May 25, 1904 Lubao-March 11, 1973 Quezon City) otherwise known as Dr. Gregorio M. Fernandez, Dr. Gregorio Fernandez, Doc Greg, Yoyong or Dr. Gregorio Montemayor-Fernández was a Filipino film director, actor and screenwriter. He had eight children, Rudy Fernandez, Ma. Luisa "Merle" Fernandez, Maria Paz Fernandez, Maria Isabel Fernandez, Jose Fernandez, Naria Teresita Fernandez, Emmanuel Fernandez and Mary Anne Fernandez.
Gregorio Fernandez began his career in the Philippines film industry in the 1930s, directing films for Sampaguita Pictures and LVN Pictures. Some of his most notable works include "Santino," "Berong Bansa," and "Batalyon XIII." Along with directing, Fernandez also acted in films, often playing supporting roles. He was a versatile writer, penning screenplays for films such as "Ararong Ginto" and "Bago Lumubog ang Araw."
Aside from his work in the film industry, Fernandez was also a medical doctor. He received his degree from the University of Santo Tomas and worked as a surgeon at the Philippine General Hospital. During World War II, he served as a medic for the Philippine Army.
Fernandez's legacy in Filipino cinema can still be seen today, with several of his films being considered as classics of the golden age of Philippine cinema. His son Rudy Fernandez also went on to become a successful actor in his own right, following in his father's footsteps.
