He is best known for his roles in Finnish films such as "The Man Without a Past" and "Le Havre," both directed by Aki Kaurismäki. Kuosmanen has been a member of several bands, including Sleepy Sleepers, and has released solo albums as well. He has also worked as a voice actor, dubbing foreign films and TV shows into Finnish. In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Kuosmanen is a trained electrician and has worked in that field in the past.

Markku Peltola
Markku Peltola (July 12, 1956 Helsinki-December 31, 2007 Kangasala) also known as Peltola, Markku or Markku Juhani Peltola was a Finnish actor and musician.
He graduated from the Theatre Academy in Helsinki and went on to work in both film and theater. Peltola's breakthrough role was in the 2002 film "The Man Without a Past" directed by Aki Kaurismäki, for which he won the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival. He also appeared in Kaurismäki's "Lights in the Dusk" and "Le Havre." In addition to his acting career, Peltola was also a skilled musician and played in several bands throughout his life. He passed away from a heart attack at the age of 51.

Vesa Vierikko
Vesa Vierikko (May 24, 1956 Lappeenranta-) a.k.a. Vesa Tapio Vierikko or Vierikko is a Finnish actor, screenwriter, television director and professor. He has one child, Helena Vierikko.
Vesa Vierikko graduated from the Theatre Academy of Finland in 1984 and started his acting career in the same year at the Finnish National Theatre. He then worked at the Helsinki City Theatre from 1987 to 1992 and since 1992, he has been a member of the ensemble of the Tampere Theatre.
Vierikko has appeared in numerous Finnish films, such as The Man Without a Past (2002), which was directed by Aki Kaurismäki and won the Grand Prix at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival. Vierikko's first leading role in a film was in the movie The Worthless (1982), which was directed by Mika Kaurismäki, Aki's brother.
Besides his work in film and theatre, Vierikko has also directed and written for television. He wrote and directed five episodes of the Finnish television series Tunnin kuva (2009) and directed six episodes of the Finnish drama television series Sorjonen (2017-2020).
In addition to his successful career in the arts, Vierikko has also taught acting at the Theatre Academy of Finland since 1995 and was appointed as a professor of acting in 2007.

Jarmo Hyttinen is best known for his work as a screenwriter for Finnish television, having written for popular shows such as "Salatut elämät" and "Kotikatu". He has also acted in numerous Finnish films and TV series, including "Punainen planeetta" and "Hovimäki". Hyttinen is a graduate of the Theatre Academy Helsinki and has worked as a theatre director in addition to his work in television and film. In 2007, he was awarded the Venla Award for Best Screenplay for his work on "Salatut elämät".

Arto Melleri
Arto Melleri (September 7, 1956 Lappajärvi-May 13, 2005) also known as Arto Matti Vihtori Melleri or Melleri, Arto was a Finnish writer, poet, screenwriter, actor and lyricist. He had two children, Vera Melleri and Sara Melleri.
As a writer, Arto Melleri gained significant acclaim for his works which were published in a number of anthologies and literary magazines. He won the J. H. Erkko Award in 1994 for his collection of poems titled "Savuava omakotitalo" (Smoking detached house) and the Kalevi Jäntti Prize in 1997 for his play "Pilvet" (Clouds).
In addition, Melleri was a prolific screenwriter and collaborated on several films and TV series, including the critically acclaimed "Rikos ja rangaistus" (Crime and Punishment) in 1983. Melleri was known for his versatility and ability to work across different mediums with ease, as evidenced by his work as a lyricist for several popular Finnish rock bands like Hassisen Kone and Sielun Veljet.
Tragically, Arto Melleri passed away at the age of 48 due to complications from cancer. However, his legacy lives on through his influential cultural contributions which continue to inspire and influence modern Finnish literature and screenwriting to this day.
