Rauha Rentola
Rauha Rentola (February 4, 1919 Kuhmoinen-July 20, 2005 Helsinki) also known as Rauha Olivia Elisabet Rentola was a Finnish actor.
She started her career in the theatre and made her film debut in 1944's "Rakkaus on nopeampi kuin kuolema" (Love is Faster than Death). Throughout her career, she appeared in over 50 films and numerous TV productions. Rentola was renowned for her versatility as an actor and her ability to seamlessly transition between dramatic and comedic roles. She was awarded the Pro Finlandia medal in 1985 for her contributions to Finnish culture. In addition to her acting career, Rentola also worked as a translator, translating plays and books from Swedish and Danish into Finnish. She passed away at the age of 86 in Helsinki.
