Max Vialle was best known for his work in French cinema, appearing in over 55 films throughout his career. He began his acting career in 1958 with a small role in the film "Le Septième Ciel". Vialle's most notable roles include his performances in "La Traque" (1966), "Le Samouraï" (1967), and "La Grande Bouffe" (1973). He often played supporting roles, and was well-regarded for his ability to bring depth and complexity to even minor characters.

In addition to his acting work, Vialle was also a talented writer and director. He directed one feature film, "Les amis", in 1971, and also wrote several screenplays throughout his career.
