Árpád Lehotay (April 27, 1890 Levoča-October 19, 1953 Budapest) also known as Lehoczky Árpád was a Hungarian actor and theatre director.

Lehotay started his career as an actor in the Hungarian National Theatre in Debrecen in 1912. He later performed in various other theatres across Hungary before becoming a director at the National Theatre in 1927. Lehotay was known for his dynamic and innovative directing style and often experimented with new approaches to theatre.

During his career, Lehotay directed over 220 plays, including traditional Hungarian plays as well as Shakespeare, Chekhov, and Brecht. He was known for his collaborations with some of the greatest Hungarian actors of his time and was widely recognized for his contributions to the Hungarian theatre scene.
