Mari Szemes (May 7, 1932 Šaštín-Stráže-December 10, 1988 Budapest) was a Hungarian actor and voice actor.

He was born in Slovakia and later moved to Hungary to pursue his passion for acting. Szemes was a prolific actor, appearing in over 50 films and numerous stage performances throughout his career. He was best known for his roles in Hungarian cinema, including the films Sárkány, Szelesteyék, and A Tenkes kapitánya. Additionally, Szemes was a talented voice actor, lending his voice to Hungarian dubs of foreign films such as Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope and the Pink Panther series. Despite his success, Szemes struggled with health issues throughout his life and passed away at the age of 56.
