Ismail Adil Shah

Ismail Adil Shah was the fifth ruler of the Bijapur Sultanate in present-day Karnataka, India. He ascended the throne in 1510 after his father's death and ruled for 24 years until his own demise. During his reign, he expanded the Bijapur Sultanate and strengthened it to become a significant power in the Deccan region.
