She made her acting debut in 1974 and went on to star in various movies including "Gema Dangdut Indonesia" (1983), "Adriana" (1984), and "Pengabdi Setan" (1980). She was awarded Best Supporting Actress at the Indonesian Film Festival in 1984 for her role in "Kembang Kertas".
Aside from acting, Tanty Yosepha was also involved in charitable work. She was a member of the Catholic Women's Association and was actively involved in various charity organizations.
