He is best known for his time in the WWE, where he was a two-time Intercontinental Champion and one-time United States Champion. Marella was born in Ontario, Canada to Italian parents and began his career in the WWE in 2007 after winning a fan competition to become a wrestler. He quickly became a fan favorite for his comedic antics and surprising in-ring abilities. In addition to his wrestling career, Marella has also appeared in several films, including "Jingle all the Way 2" and "Gridlocked". He is best known for his portrayal of the young Salvatore in the 1988 Italian drama film "Cinema Paradiso", directed by Giuseppe Tornatore. Cascio was only 9 years old when he was cast for the role and his acting received critical acclaim.
