He was born in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire and was a multifaceted athlete who excelled in both sprinting and long jump. Kragbé represented Côte d'Ivoire in several international competitions, including the Olympic Games, African Games, and All-Africa Games.

He competed in the 1960 Olympics in Rome, where he made it to the quarter-finals of the 100m and set a personal best in the long jump with a distance of 7.10m. Kragbé won a gold medal in the 4x100m relay event at the 1965 All-Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo, and later went on to win silver in the same event at the 1968 African Games in Algiers, Algeria.

Kragbé’s achievements in the sport of athletics earned him several accolades, including the title of Ivorian Athlete of the Year in 1965 and induction into the Côte d'Ivoire Sports Hall of Fame in 1985.
