Julius Sang

Julius Sang (September 19, 1948 Kapsabet-April 9, 2004 Eldoret) was a Kenyan personality.

Julius Sang was a former athlete and Olympian who represented Kenya at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games in the 400 meters hurdles. He also won a gold medal at the 1971 All-Africa Games in the same event. After his athletics career, Sang became a coach and worked with several athletes, including Patrick Sang (no relation), who later became a successful coach as well. Julius Sang was also involved in politics and served as a councilor and mayor of Eldoret in the 1990s. He passed away at the age of 55 due to a heart attack.

Otieno Kajwang

Otieno Kajwang (July 15, 1959 Kenya-November 19, 2014) also known as Gerald Otieno Kajwang was a Kenyan lawyer.

He served as the Member of Parliament for the constituency of Mbita, Kenya from 2002 until his death in 2014. Otieno Kajwang was a renowned political figure in Kenya and was instrumental in the passing of the 2010 constitution of Kenya. In addition to his political career, Kajwang was also a prominent lawyer practicing in the Kenyan courts. He studied law at the University of Nairobi before practicing law in Nairobi for several years. Kajwang was widely regarded as an advocate for democracy and social justice in Kenya. His contributions to Kenyan politics and the legal profession earned him numerous accolades and recognition from his peers.

He died as a result of cardiac arrest.
