Eva Norvind (May 7, 1944 Trondheim-May 14, 2006) also known as Ava Taurel or Eva Johanne Chegodayeva Sakonskaya was a Norwegian journalist, actor, film producer, film director and dominatrix. She had one child, Nailea Norvind.

After moving to New York City in the 1960s, Norvind started her career as a journalist and became known for her coverage of the counterculture movement. She then transitioned to acting and appeared in a number of films, including "Silent Madness" and "The Forbidden Dance". Later, she became a film producer and directed documentaries about sexuality and BDSM. Norvind was also known for her work as a dominatrix, and opened her own dungeon in Manhattan called Ava Taurel's Private Chamber. Her daughter, Nailea Norvind, also became an actress and continued her mother's legacy in the film industry. Norvind passed away in 2006 at the age of 62.
