Jerzy Zawieyski

Jerzy Zawieyski (October 2, 1902-June 18, 1969 Warsaw) was a Polish writer, journalist, politician, playwright and actor.

During World War II, Zawieyski took part in Polish resistance against the Nazi occupation, working as a soldier and a courier. After the war, he became a prominent figure in the Polish Communist Party and was elected to the Sejm (Polish parliament) in 1947. As a writer, Zawieyski was known for his satirical works, including the novel "Kolumbowie" and the play "Panopticum." He was also involved in theater as an actor and director. Despite his political activities, Zawieyski was critical of the Soviet Union and its policies, and was eventually expelled from the Communist Party in 1956 during the period of de-Stalinization. He continued to write and work in theater until his death in 1969.

He was best known for his roles in German films and television shows. Wischnewski began his acting career in the late 1940s, appearing in Polish theater productions. In the early 1950s, he moved to Germany and continued his acting career there. He appeared in over 150 films and television shows throughout his career. Some of his notable roles include "Banktresor 713" (1967), "Derrick" (1974-1989), and "Traumschiff" (1981-1987). Wischnewski was also a voice actor and dubbed many foreign films into German. He was married to German actress Elfie Pertramer from 1952 until his death in 1989.

Piotr Skrzynecki

Piotr Skrzynecki (September 12, 1930 Warsaw-April 27, 1997 Kraków) also known as Piotr Skrzinecki or Skrzynecki, Piotr was a Polish actor.

He graduated from the National Film School in Łódź in 1952 and began his career on stage at the Teatr Wybrzeże in Gdańsk. Skrzynecki was best known for his roles in films such as "Man of Iron" and "Escape from the 'Liberty' Cinema". He was also a prolific voice actor, lending his voice to numerous animated films and television shows including "Fables of Green Forest" and "The Simpsons". In addition to acting, Skrzynecki was a lecturer at the National Theatre School in Kraków and a member of the Polish Film Academy. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in 1975 for his contributions to Polish culture.

Jacek Woszczerowicz

Jacek Woszczerowicz (September 11, 1904 Siedlce-October 19, 1970 Warsaw) otherwise known as Marian Jacek Woszczerowicz or Woszczer was a Polish actor.

Jacek Woszczerowicz was a prominent figure in Polish theatre and cinema during the 1930s and 1940s. He began his acting career in 1927 as a member of a traveling theatre company which performed throughout Poland. Woszczerowicz joined the National Theater in Warsaw in 1936 and performed in numerous classic plays such as William Shakespeare's Hamlet, The Merchant of Venice, and Richard III.

During the World War II, Jacek Woszczerowicz was involved in the Polish resistance movement as well as serving in the Polish army. After the war, he returned to the stage and continued his acting career in both theatre and cinema. He appeared in numerous films, including the acclaimed 1958 film Eroica, which won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.

Woszczerowicz was also a respected acting teacher and taught at the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw. He was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Siedlce, his birthplace, in 1964. Woszczerowicz passed away on October 19, 1970, in Warsaw, at the age of 66.
