Skulnik emigrated to the United States in 1908 and began his career performing in Yiddish theater productions in New York City. He later transitioned to film and appeared in several Hollywood movies, including "The Man with a Golden Arm" and "The Miracle of the Bells". Skulnik was known for his comedic timing and ability to portray a lovable underdog. He continued performing in theater and film throughout his career and was inducted into the Yiddish Theater Walk of Fame in 2002. Skulnik was also a philanthropist and served as president of the Hebrew Actors' Union.

Jan Machulski

He died as a result of myocardial infarction.

Witold Skaruch

Witold Skaruch (January 11, 1930 Ciechanów-February 17, 2010 Konstancin-Jeziorna) was a Polish actor.

Skaruch graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and later joined the National Theatre in Warsaw. He appeared in over 60 films and TV series, including "Four Tank-Men and a Dog", "The Cruise", and "Escape from the 'Liberty' Cinema". He was also known for his work in theater, playing various roles in productions of William Shakespeare's plays, including "Hamlet" and "Macbeth". Skaruch received numerous awards throughout his career, including the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta and the Gloria Artis Gold Medal for Cultural Merit. In addition to his acting career, he was also a successful painter and graphic artist. Skaruch passed away in 2010 at the age of 80.

Kazimierz Wichniarz

Kazimierz Wichniarz (January 18, 1915 Poznań-June 26, 1995 Warsaw) was a Polish actor.

He graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw in 1937, after which he made his debut at the Ateneum Theatre. During World War II, he was involved in the Polish resistance and was captured and sent to a Nazi concentration camp, but managed to escape. After the war, he returned to acting and became a prominent figure in the post-war Polish theatre and film industries. He appeared in numerous films, such as "Eroica" and "The Saragossa Manuscript", and worked with renowned directors such as Andrzej Wajda and Roman Polanski. Wichniarz was also a teacher at the Theatre Academy in Warsaw, where he had studied earlier in his career. In recognition of his contributions to Polish culture, he was awarded the Order of Polonia Restituta and the Cross of Merit.
