Kazimierz Junosza-Stępowski (November 26, 1880 Venice-July 5, 1943 Warsaw) also known as Kazimierz Junosza-Stepowski, Junosza Stepowski, Junosza or Kazimierz Stepnowski was a Polish actor.
Junosza-Stępowski was born in Venice, Italy, to a Polish family. He studied acting in Paris and debuted on stage in 1901 in Lviv. He quickly gained recognition for his remarkable talent, and throughout his career, he became one of the most iconic actors of his time in Poland.
In addition to his illustrious career on stage, Junosza-Stępowski also appeared in several films, including "Ostatni Dzwon" (1929) and "Znachor" (1937), among others. He was also a distinguished professor of acting and an influential acting coach, who trained many renowned actors in Poland.
Junosza-Stępowski was a prominent figure in Warsaw's cultural scene in the interwar period, and he played an active role in the city's theatre life. During World War II, he was active in the Polish resistance and risked his life to help the persecuted Jews.
