Witold Kiełtyka

Witold Kiełtyka (January 24, 1984 Krosno-November 2, 2007 Novozybkov) also known as Vitek was a Polish drummer.

He was one of the founding members of the death metal band Decapitated, which formed in 1996 in Krosno, Poland. Kiełtyka was widely recognized for his exceptional drumming skills and became a prominent figure in the metal community. During his time with Decapitated, the band released several critically acclaimed albums, including "Winds of Creation" and "Organic Hallucinosis". In 2007, Kiełtyka and Decapitated's lead vocalist, Adrian "Covan" Kowanek, were involved in a serious car accident in Russia that claimed the life of Kowanek and left Kiełtyka in a coma. He passed away shortly thereafter due to the injuries he sustained. Kiełtyka's legacy continues to be celebrated by fans of Decapitated and the metal community as a whole.
