Marek Jackowski was best known as a co-founder of the popular Polish rock band Maanam, established in 1975. Jackowski was also a prolific songwriter and wrote most of Maanam's popular hits, such as "Cykady na cykladach," "Kocham cię, kochanie moje," and "Boskie Buenos."
